Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a detail-oriented Service Appointment Coordinator to assist customers via live phone calls, provide product and service information, and schedule service appointments at our Irving dealerships.

The role emphasizes strong verbal and written communication, real-time problem solving, and collaboration with service departments to ensure a positive customer experience. Relevant experience and a HS diploma preferred; benefits include health/dental/vision and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 6-12 months previous work experience (preferred)
• Demonstrated customer service skills
• Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous industry experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to incoming customer inquiries.
• Provide accurate information regarding products, services, policies, and promotions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer concerns efficiently.
• Maintain a professional, helpful, and friendly tone in all customer interactions.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to improve customer satisfaction.
• Ask qualifying questions to uncover needs and direct calls appropriately.
• Ensure that service consultants receive messages promptly.
• Meet or exceed assigned KPIs and targets.
• Provide reporting and approved communications to dealership management.
