Murphy-Hoffman Company (MHC Kenworth) in Memphis, TN is seeking a Service Advisor to greet customers, coordinate repair requests, and estimate repair costs within guidelines. You will work with the Service Manager and shop foremen to schedule tasks and ensure timely service.

Qualifications

• CDL preferred.
• Minimum 4 years' experience in related field.
• Computer experience preferred.
• Strong customer relations and communication skills.
• Good leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate repair orders with Service Manager and Shop Foremen for task assignment and scheduling.
• Estimate cost of repairs within set guidelines and pursue warranty/documentation as needed.
• Assist Service Manager with clerical duties including warranty documentation and repair order filing.
• Input repair order information into the data processing system and close repair orders.
• Maintain and administer shop tools and supply requirements and status.
• Inform the Service Manager of all customer complaints for timely resolution.
• Advise customers on needed service work and suggest additional labor, parts, and body shop sales when possible.
• Participate in training to stay current on technical and warranty issues.
• Assist in maintaining a clean shop and office area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
