Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Service Advisor to join our nationwide network. You will be the liaison between Service Technicians and customers, explaining technician recommendations in clear terms and identifying opportunities to upsell for vehicle safety and maintenance.

You will set appointments, greet customers, and work toward sales and CSAT goals while leveraging technology to deliver transparent estimates and efficient service. Join us to drive loyalty and enhance the driving experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Exceptional customer experience.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Prior sales experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, consultative, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Willingness to follow up with customers.
• Experience and desire to work with technology.
• Valid in-state driver’s license with safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Set, confirm and prepare for appointments with customers.
• Meet or exceed sales and customer satisfaction targets.
• Greet customers on arrival in a friendly manner.
• Determine vehicle needs based on information, walk-arounds and test drives.
• Use consultative selling to plan ongoing maintenance.
• Create repair orders with cost and time estimates, transparently.
• Communicate with technicians and parts associates for timely work.
• Follow up with customers on status as requested.
• Follow up to ensure satisfaction.
• Gain product knowledge to assist customers.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
