Job summary

AutoNation Inc. is seeking a Service Advisor to act as the go-between for customers and technicians in our state-of-the-art service departments.

You will greet customers, assess vehicle needs, and explain technician recommendations in clear terms while identifying upsell opportunities to keep vehicles safe. You will schedule appointments, meet sales and satisfaction targets, coordinate with staff, and communicate progress to customers throughout the service journey.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to set and meet sales goals.
• Willingness to follow up with customers and use technology.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and confirm appointments to ensure a great service experience.
• Meet or exceed sales and customer satisfaction targets.
• Greet customers and assess vehicle needs during walk-around and test drives.
• Provide transparent repair estimates and timelines.
• Coordinate with technicians and parts staff to complete work.
• Maintain proactive communication with customers on status and next steps.
• Develop product knowledge to upsell appropriately and safely.
