Job summary

AutoNation in Encinitas, CA seeks a Service Advisor to bridge between service technicians and customers, translating technician recommendations into clear options and identifying up-sell opportunities to keep drivers safe. You will set and confirm appointments, greet customers, and discuss their vehicle needs.

You will also prepare repair orders with cost/time estimates, coordinate with technicians and parts staff, and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction while driving loyalty and sales

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer experience and communication skills.
• Valid in-state driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Set, confirm and prepare for appointments with customers.
• Greet customers and determine vehicle needs via walk-around and tests.
• Explain technician recommendations in easy terms and note up-sell opportunities.
• Produce repair orders with cost estimates and timelines.
• Coordinate with technicians and parts staff to ensure timely work.
