Qualifications

• Two years related experience and/or training required.
• History of solid and successful employment with good references.
• Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service.
• Prior sales experience helpful.
• Clean driving record.
• Able to pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Schedules service appointments and obtains customer and vehicle data prior to arrival.
• Writes up customer’s vehicle problems accurately and clearly on repair orders.
• Advises customers on vehicle care and maintenance per manufacturer specs.
• References service history and inspects vehicle.
• Recommends additional needed service and provides complete written cost estimates.
• Monitors repair progress and communicates changes in estimate or time to customers.
• Explains costs and time requirements in detail and obtains authorization for additional work.
• Keeps service department forms, menus and pricing guides up-to-date.
• Explains completed work and charges to customers.
• Implements a quality control process to prevent comebacks.
• Handles telephone inquiries regarding appointments and work in process.
