Job summary

AutoNation Inc. is seeking a Service Advisor to bridge the gap between customers and our service Technicians.

You will help customers understand the technicians’ recommendations, present cost and time estimates, and identify opportunities to upsell needed maintenance to keep vehicles safe. You will greet customers, schedule appointments, and actively pursue sales and satisfaction goals while using technology to enhance service experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to meet sales goals and provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Clear communication and interpersonal abilities; comfortable with technology.

Responsibilities

• Set, confirm and prepare for appointments with customers.
• Meet or exceed sales goals and customer satisfaction targets.
• Greet customers and assess vehicle needs via walk-around and test drive.
• Explain service recommendations in plain language and suggest upsell opportunities.
• Prepare repair orders with cost estimates and timelines.
• Coordinate with technicians and parts staff for timely work.
