Job summary

Sames Motor Company Inc in McAllen, TX seeks a Service Advisor to efficiently assist customers with repair and scheduled maintenance requests, and to consult on needed services. You will review root causes with customers during vehicle delivery and help the Service Manager by distributing work and maintaining repair records.

Qualifications

• Two years of sales experience preferred.
• Estimating experience with evaluative diagnostic capabilities is helpful.
• Identify, understand, and act on changing customer requirements under deadlines.
• Administrative skills for record keeping of customer vehicles.
• Strong customer relations, polite and cooperative demeanor.
• Must bend, stoop, and reach.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive various vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with repair and scheduled maintenance service requests.
• Consult customers on needed maintenance repairs.
• Review root cause and corrective action with the customer at delivery.
• Distribute work to staff and maintain repair records; support promotions.
• Monitor labor inventory and follow safety and environmental programs.
• Notify customers when service is completed and arrange pickup.
