Job summary

Sames Motor Company Inc is seeking a Service Advisor to efficiently assist customers with repair and maintenance requests, consult on needed services, and review root cause with customers during vehicle delivery.

Responsibilities include promoting labor and parts sales, maintaining customer satisfaction, and coordinating with all dealership departments. The ideal candidate will have sales experience and technical knowledge, with strong customer relations skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years sales experience preferred.
• Technical knowledge of dealership products; estimating experience helpful.
• Ability to identify, comprehend and act on changing customer requirements; ability to work well under pressure of deadlines.
• Administrative skills for appropriate record keeping for customer vehicles.
• Possess good customer relations abilities, polite and courteous manner, cooperative attitude, team oriented.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and reach.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Maintain a valid driver7s license, ability to drive a variety of vehicle types, insurable.

Responsibilities

• Promote sales of labor and parts.
• Promote and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Maintain good working relationships within the Service Department and all other dealership departments.
• Greet customers, process repair orders and provide estimates.
• Notify customers when service is completed and discuss any additional needed work.
• Follow progress of repairs and communicate updates to customers.
