Job summary

Velocity Vehicle Group in Reno, NV is seeking a Service Advisor to deliver exceptional customer service in the maintenance area. You will greet customers, listen to their vehicle concerns, and perform thorough inspections to identify issues.

You will verify warranty coverage, prepare repair orders, monitor progress, collect payments, and ensure timely completion while communicating clearly with customers throughout the process.

• Proven technical expertise in vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Knowledge of trucks and parts and their systems.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers upon arrival in the maintenance area.
• Listen to customer descriptions of symptoms and clarify problems.
• Proactively check recalls and retrieve vehicle information.
• Explain estimates and provide daily updates to customers.
• Verify warranty and service contract coverage with appropriate documentation.
• Prepare repair orders describing symptoms, required repairs and causes discovered.
• Monitor repair progress to ensure timely completion and close jobs.
• Process payments and close out service orders while maintaining accuracy.
