Job summary

Quirk Automotive Group is seeking a Service Advisor for Quirk Nissan in Quincy, MA to join our busy service department. You will greet customers, write repair orders, and explain charges while documenting concerns and vehicle walk-arounds to ensure accurate estimates.

You will monitor repair progress, communicate changes to customers, and advise on vehicle maintenance per manufacturer specifications. This is a full-time, in-person role with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and computer skills required.
• Experience in managing and organizing work time.
• A high school diploma or college degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a timely, friendly manner.
• Write repair orders and explain charges.
• Perform vehicle walk-around and document concerns.
• Provide written labor and parts cost estimates.
• Check the progress of repair and update customers.
• Notify customers of changes to estimates or timing.
• Advise on vehicle care and maintenance per manufacturer specifications.

Job Duties:

• Greets customers in a timely, friendly manner
• Writing Repair Orders and explaining charges
• Performing vehicle walk around and documentation of customer concerns
• Provides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts
• Check the progress of repair throughout the day
• Contacts customers regarding any changes in the estimate or time impacts
• Maintains strong customer satisfaction
• Advises customers on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturer's specifications
• Follows all Quirk safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor

Job Requirements:

• Prior sales experience preferred but not required
• High School Diploma or College Degree preferred but not required
• Experience in managing and organizing work time and work-related activities
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude and strong willingness to learn
• Must have excellent computer skills
