Job summary

Quirk Auto is seeking a Service Advisor to join our busy service department in Massachusetts. This is an exciting opportunity to begin a career in a leading dealership group in New England.

You will greet customers, write repair orders, document concerns and provide clear estimates while maintaining excellent communication with customers. The role is full-time with benefits including health, dental, long-term disability, life insurance, and critical illness coverage.

Qualifications

• Prior sales experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to write clear repair orders and document customer concerns.
• Willingness to learn and follow dealership procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers in a timely, friendly manner.
• Writes repair orders and explains charges to customers.
• Performs vehicle walk around and documents concerns.
• Provides accurate written cost estimates for labor and parts.
• Monitors repair progress and communicates updates.
• Contacts customers about changes in estimates or timing.
• Advises customers on vehicle care per manufacturer specs.
• Follows safety policies and reports accidents promptly.

Job Duties:

• Greets customers in a timely, friendly manner
• Writing Repair Orders and explaining charges
• Performing vehicle walk around and documentation of customer concerns
• Provides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts
• Check the progress of repair throughout the day
• Contacts customers regarding any changes in the estimate or time impacts
• Advises customers on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturer's specifications
• Follows all Quirk safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor

Job Requirements:

• Prior sales experience preferred but not required
• High School Diploma or College Degree preferred but not required
• Experience in managing and organizing work time and work-related activities
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude and strong willingness to learn

Full Time - Health, Dental, Long Term Disability, Life Insurance, and Critical Illness Insurance. Quirk will provide at no cost to you, Basic Life Insurance and an AD&D policy of $20,000. All other benefits are optional and will be offered to you at a cost.
