Job summary

Quirk Auto Dealerships is seeking a Service Advisor to join our busy service department in Marshfield, MA. This full-time role offers growth within a leading New England dealership group.

You will greet customers, write repair orders, provide cost estimates, and keep clients informed on progress and any changes to timelines. A customer-focused attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and solid computer abilities are essential to succeed.

• Greet customers in a timely, friendly manner.
• Write repair orders and explain charges.
• Perform vehicle walk around and document customer concerns.
• Provide a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts.
• Check the progress of repair throughout the day.
• Contacts customers regarding any changes in the estimate or time impacts.
• Maintains strong customer satisfaction.
• Advise customers on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturer's specifications.
• Follows all Quirk safety policies and procedures, and report any accidents to a supervisor.

Key Required Proficiencies

• Greets customers in a timely, friendly manner


• Writing Repair Orders and explaining charges


• Performing vehicle walk around and documentation of customer concerns


• Provides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts


• Check the progress of repair throughout the day


• Contacts customers regarding any changes in the estimate or time impacts


• Maintains strong customer satisfaction


• Advises customers on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturer's specifications


• Follows all Quirk safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor

Preferred Skills

• Prior sales experience preferred but not required


• High School Diploma or College Degree preferred but not required


• Experience in managing and organizing work time and work-related activities


• Excellent interpersonal skills


• Positive attitude and strong willingness to learn


• Strong computer skills
