Job summary

Quirk Automotive Group in Massachusetts is seeking a friendly Customer Service professional for our Quirk Volkswagen - Braintree location. This full-time, in-person role focuses on greeting customers, handling repair orders, and communicating costs clearly.

You will work with our service team to document concerns, provide accurate estimates, track repair progress, and keep customers informed of any changes.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and positive attitude.
• Strong computer literacy and troubleshooting.
• Prior sales experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a timely, friendly manner.
• Write repair orders and explain charges.
• Document customer concerns from vehicle walk around.
• Provide accurate written cost estimates for labor and parts.
• Monitor repair progress and update customers on changes.
• Maintain strong customer satisfaction.
• Advise customers on car care and maintenance per manufacturer specs.
• Follow safety policies and report incidents promptly.

Job Duties

• Greets customers in a timely, friendly manner
• Writing Repair Orders and explaining charges
• Performing vehicle walk around and documentation of customer concerns
• Provides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts
• Check the progress of repair throughout the day
• Contacts customers regarding any changes in the estimate or time impacts
• Maintains strong customer satisfaction
• Advices customers on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturer's specifications
• Follows all Quirk safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor

Job Requirements

• Prior sales experience preferred but not required
• High School Diploma or College Degree preferred but not required
• Experience in managing and organizing work time and work-related activities
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude and strong willingness to learn
• Must have excellent computer skills
