Job summary

Quirk Auto Dealerships is seeking a Service Advisor to join our busy service department in Quincy, MA. This full-time, in-person position offers opportunities for advancement and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will greet customers, write repair orders, provide cost estimates, and communicate progress and changes throughout the day. Ideal candidates have strong customer service skills, eagerness to learn, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Greets customers in a timely, friendly manner.
• Writes repair orders and explains charges to customers.
• Performs vehicle walk arounds and documents concerns.
• Provides complete and accurate written labor and parts estimates.
• Monitors progress of repairs and informs customers of changes.

Position Overview

Quirk Auto is currently seeking a Service Advisor to join our busy service department. This is an exciting opportunity to begin a career at the best dealership group in New England! Key Required Proficiencies:

• - Greets customers in a timely, friendly manner
• - Writing Repair Orders and explaining charges
• - Performing vehicle walk around and documentation of customer concerns
• - Provides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts
• - Check the progress of repair throughout the day
• - Contacts customers regarding any changes in the estimate or time impacts
• - Maintains strong customer satisfaction
• - Advises customers on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturer's specifications
• - Follows all Quirk safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor

Preferred Skills:

• - Prior sales experience preferred but not required
• - High School Diploma or College Degree preferred but not required
• - Experience in managing and organizing work time and work-related activities
• - Excellent interpersonal skills
• - A positive attitude and strong willingness to learn
• - Excellent computer skills
