Job summary

Quirk Auto seeks a Service Advisor to join its busy service department in New England. You will greet customers, write repair orders, walk around vehicles, and document concerns while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

You will present clear labor and parts estimates, monitor repairs, and inform customers of changes in the schedule. A positive attitude, strong learning willingness, and solid computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• Prior sales experience preferred but not required.
• High School Diploma or College Degree preferred but not required.
• Experience in managing and organizing work time and work-related activities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude and strong willingness to learn.
• Must have excellent computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers in a timely, friendly manner.
• Writing Repair Orders and explaining charges.
• Performing vehicle walk around and documentation of customer concerns.
• Provides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts.
• Check the progress of repair throughout the day.
• Contacts customers regarding any changes in the estimate or time impacts.
• Maintains strong customer satisfaction.
• Advises customers on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturer's specifications.
• Follows all Quirk safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor.
