Job summary

The Boucher Automotive Group is seeking a Service Advisor to join our team. You will determine automotive problems by listening to customer descriptions, inspect vehicles, perform test drives, and prepare repair orders with clear descriptions of symptoms and required repairs.

Ideal candidates will have strong equipment knowledge, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to world-class customer service. ADP experience is a plus, and a drug test is required.

Qualifications

• Must have strong equipment knowledge related to automotive service.
• Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Experience with ADP or similar payroll/ERP systems preferred.
• Maintaining high CSI standards and a focus on world-class customer service.

Responsibilities

• Determine automotive problems by listening to customer descriptions of symptoms.
• Clarify problem descriptions and conduct inspections to diagnose issues.
• Take test drives and review vehicle maintenance records.
• Describe symptoms, problems, and required repairs to prepare RO; obtain approvals; enter RO into system.

The Boucher Automotive Groupis looking to hire a Service Advisor

POSITION

The Boucher Automotive Group is looking to hire a Service Advisor. Job duties include but are not limited to, determining automotive problems and services by listening to customer's descriptions of symptoms; clarifying the description of problems; conducting inspections; taking test drives; checking vehicle maintenance records; examining service schedules. Preparing repair orders by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required; obtaining approval signatures; entering RO into the service database system. Previous dealership experience preferred. Clean driving record/drug test required.

REQUIREMENTS

Must have equipment maintenance and product knowledge. The ideal candidate should be a motivated self-starter, outgoing, proactive, willing to learn, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have a positive attitude. ADP experience is preferred. Must have top-rated CSI standards and a focus on world-class customer service. Drug test required.
