Job summary

The Boucher Automotive Group in Janesville, WI is seeking a Service Advisor to diagnose automotive issues by listening to customers, reviewing maintenance records, and guiding repair work. The role involves preparing repair orders, describing repairs, and driving the service process with a focus on customer satisfaction.

You will interact with customers to clarify symptoms, conduct inspections and test drives, and enter RO data into the service database.

Qualifications

• Experience providing automotive service guidance to customers.
• Commitment to high CSI standards and world-class service.
• Familiarity with Ford processes or systems preferred.
• Experience with CDK or dealership service databases is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify vehicle issues by talking with customers and listening to symptoms.
• Prepare repair orders describing symptoms, problems, causes, and planned services.
• Coordinate inspections, test drives, and review maintenance history.
• Enter repair orders into the service database and obtain approvals.
• Maintain a high level of customer communication and satisfaction.

POSITION

The Boucher Dealerships of Janesville are looking to hire a Service Advisor. Job duties include but are not limited to, determining automotive problems and services by listening to customer's descriptions of symptoms; clarifying the description of problems; conducting inspections; taking test drives; checking vehicle maintenance records; examining service schedules. Preparing repair orders by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required; obtaining approval signatures; entering RO into a service database system.

REQUIREMENTS

Ford & CDK experience preferred. The ideal candidate should be a motivated self-starter, outgoing, proactive, willing to learn, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have a positive attitude. Must have top-rated CSI standards and a focus on world‑class customer service.
