Job summary

Henderson Chevrolet Buick GMC is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor to initiate and process repair service requests and support the Service Department. You will communicate with customers, gather vehicle information, and present clear estimates while coordinating with technicians.

The role emphasizes customer service, detailed RO preparation, and accurate cost estimates in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Qualifications

• A minimum of one year of customer service experience preferred
• Ability to work daily on a computer and perform internet searches as needed
• Excellent organization and follow up skills required
• The ability to follow department procedures and policies

Responsibilities

Automotive Service Advisor

Henderson Chevrolet Buick GMC has an immediate opening for an Automotive Service Advisor. As a Service Advisor you will primarily be responsible for initiating and processing requests for repair services and providing administrative support to the Service Department as well as keeping customers apprised of work progress. Your passion will be rewarded through an aggressive commission-driven pay plan with an uncapped earnings potential.

Job Functions

• Greet customers in a timely, friendly manner and obtain their information
• Perform vehicle walk around with customer and determine any issues
• Serve as the liaison between the customer and the technician; ensuring the customers needs are understood by technician and the recommended service/repairs are understood by the customer
• Prepare Repair Order (RO) in our computer system, complete with symptoms, problems, causes, and required service/repair work
• Provide the customer with accurate estimate of costs and fees
• Review repair order with the guest at check-out; answer any questions they may have
