Job summary

Henderson Chevrolet Buick GMC is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor to initiate and process repair service requests and provide administrative support in the Service Department. You will keep customers informed on work progress and coordinate with technicians to ensure accurate communication.

This full-time role combines customer service with payroll- or commission-based earnings potential through a performance-driven pay plan.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year of customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to work daily on a computer and perform internet searches as needed.
• Excellent organization and follow-up skills are required.
• Ability to follow department procedures and policies.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a timely, friendly manner and obtain their information.
• Perform vehicle walk-around with the customer and determine issues.
• Liaise between customer and technician to ensure needs and repairs are understood.
• Prepare Repair Order with symptoms, problems, causes, and required work.
• Provide customers with accurate cost estimates and fees.
• Review repair orders with guests at checkout and answer questions.

Automotive Service Advisor

Henderson Chevrolet Buick GMC has an immediate opening foran Automotive Service Advisor. As a Service Advisor you will primarily be responsible for initiating and processing requests for repair services and providing administrative support to the Service Department as well as keeping customers apprised of work progress. Your passion will be rewarded through an aggressive commission-driven pay plan with an uncapped earnings potential.

Job Functions

• Greet customers in a timely, friendly manner and obtain their information


• Perform vehicle walk around with customer and determine any issues


• Serve as the liaison between the customer and the technician; ensuring the customer’s needs are understood by technician and the recommended service/repairs are understood by the customer


• Prepare Repair Order (RO) in our computer system, complete with symptoms, problems, causes, and required service/repair work


• Provide the customer with accurate estimate of costs and fees


• Review repair order with the guest at check-out; answer any questions they may have

Job Skills

• A minimum of one year of customer service experience preferred
