Job summary

Gateway Truck & Refrigeration in Cicero, IL is seeking a Service Advisor to be the friendly hub between customers and technicians. You will prepare repair orders, verify estimates, and track repair progress while maintaining accurate service records.

The role requires excellent customer service, organization, and computer proficiency. A high school diploma and 2+ years in a similar role are preferred. We offer monthly bonuses and a benefits package in a family-owned environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years' experience as a Service Advisor or similar.
• Knowledge and experience with mechanics or a related field.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Organized and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Represent GTR to all customers through the efficient and accurate handling of customer questions and repair orders
• Act as a liaison between the customer and technicians to ensure all parties know the status of repairs
• Verify warranty and service contracts as needed
• Provide accurate repair orders and estimates to customers to maintain profit margins
• Maintain service records for customers
• Prepare billing invoices for customers
• Other duties as assigned
