Job summary

Gateway Industrial Power, Incorporated is hiring a Refrigeration Technician for our Sparta, WI location. You will perform mechanical repairs of refrigeration units and APUs, both in shop and at customer sites, and handle preventive maintenance with a focus on safety and accuracy.

The role requires 2+ years of refrigeration or diesel mechanic experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain DOT certification.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years' refrigeration tech or diesel mechanic experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain & maintain DOT Technical Certification and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical repairs of refrigeration units and APUs in shop and customer locations.
• Perform all levels of Preventative Maintenance inspections and repairs.
• Diagnose malfunctions and update customers on needed repairs.
• Identify warranty repairs and document properly on the repair order.
• Keep work area clean and safe; complete required documentation for work orders and billing.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Duties:

• Performing mechanical repairs of refrigeration units and APUs in the shop and at customer locations


• Perform all levels of Preventative Maintenance inspections and repairs
