Job summary

Gateway Truck & Refrigeration in Justice, IL seeks a Service Advisor to enhance customer interaction and streamline repair orders. You will liaise with technicians to track repair status, verify warranties, and communicate estimates while maintaining accurate service records.

The role requires a high school diploma, a commercial driver’s license is preferred, and at least 2 years in a service-advisor-like position. Expect daytime hours and steady bonuses in a family-owned shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid CDL driver's license with clean driving record (preferred)
• 2+ years' experience as a Service Advisor or similar position.

Responsibilities

• Represent Gateway Truck & Refrigeration to customers through the efficient and accurate handling of questions and repair orders.
• Act as a liaison between the customer and technicians to ensure all parties know the status of repairs.
• Verify warranty and service contracts as needed.
• Provide accurate repair orders and estimates to customers to maintain profit margins.
• Maintain service records for customers.
• Prepare billing invoices for customers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Duties
