Job summary

Shaner Hotels in Buffalo, NY is seeking an energetic server to join our In-person dining team. Be part of a fast-paced environment, delivering attentive service during evening and morning shifts.

Responsibilities include taking orders, serving beverages and food, handling payments, and maintaining a clean dining area. Requires friendly communication, at least 1 year of experience, and ability to work weekends/holidays. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in a similar customer-facing role.
• Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol.
• Able to communicate clearly with guests and staff.
• ServSafe or food safety training preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Description:

• Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
• Ensures compliance with and completion of all daily operational procedures by the Food and Beverage Department.
• Maintains food and beverage safety and quality based on hotel, Shaner, and Franchise specifications.
• Ensures communication with General Manager, all other Department Managers, Supervisors and Staff.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Alcohol awareness training (such as TIPS).
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.
