Marriott-International is seeking a personable server for on-site dining operations in Buffalo, NY. The role requires presenting a friendly, professional demeanor while taking orders, serving food and beverages, and handling payments.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in a similar position dealing with the public.
• Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.

• High school graduate or equivalent; some college preferred.
• ServSafe and/or food safety training; Alcohol awareness training (TIPS).
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders, retrieve and serve beverages and food orders to guest tables.
• Collect payments and assist in maintaining the restaurant area and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with daily operational procedures by the Food and Beverage Department.
• Maintain food and beverage safety and quality per hotel, franchise specifications.
• Communicate effectively with the General Manager, Department Managers, Supervisors and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
