Job summary

Levy Restaurants at the Rose Quarter in Portland is seeking a friendly Server Assistant to support servers and help create memorable guest experiences during events. This tipped position offers opportunities to work at multiple locations within the arena and to cover evening and weekend shifts.

You will buss, restock, and assist with POS systems while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety, including OLCC alcohol service compliance.

Qualifications

• Able to work evenings and weekends
• Must be 18+ years old due to alcohol service
• Excellent communication and guest-service mindset
• Experience in casual or fine dining preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist server in providing guests with a pleasant experience
• Buss, run, and provide general support to the server
• Restock work stations as necessary
• Ensure compliance with OLCC alcohol service standards
• Maintain cleanliness of service areas and suites
• Adhere to Levy standards, policies and procedures
• Adapt to shifting between arena locations
• Pivot between tasks in a dynamic environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Position: Server Assistant – Pay Range: $16.80

A DAY IN THE LIFE

• Assist server in providing guests with a pleasant experience (with a smile on your face)
• Responsible for bussing, running, and general support to the server from beginning to end of service
• Re‑stock work stations as necessary
• Ensure compliance with OLCC alcohol service standards
• Maintain cleanliness of service areas and restaurants & suites in compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements
• Ensure compliance with Levy standards, policies, and procedures
• Adapt to shifting between restaurant locations within the arena
• Pivot between tasks in a dynamic environment (never a dull moment!)
• Perform any other duties as assigned

• Comfortable operating in a loud, high‑volume atmosphere
• Work both independently and with a team
• Basic PC knowledge
• Familiarity with electronic equipment, such as Point‑of‑Sale systems
• Ability to adapt and learn new technology/programs
• Experience working in a casual or fine dining atmosphere preferred
• Maintain excellent attendance and able to work evening/weekend events as scheduled
