Job summary

Levy at the Rose Quarter in Portland, OR is seeking friendly, energetic Servers to greet guests, take orders, and ensure a memorable experience at high-volume events.

You’ll work with a team, operate POS systems, maintain knowledge of menu items, stock stations, and comply with safety standards. This tipped position offers free meals during shifts and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Greeting guests and providing courteous service in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

A DAY IN THE LIFE

While no two events are quite the same, here’s what you can expect as a Server -

• Responsible for greeting and serving guests in the venue’s dining areas (with a smile on your face)
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of complete menu and products on hand during event
• Fulfill guest orders for food and beverages in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner
• Re-stock work stations as necessary
• Operate Point-of-Sale system and process payment for purchased food & beverage items
• Ensure compliance with OLCC alcohol service standards
• Maintain cleanliness of service areas and restaurants in compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements
• Ensure compliance with Levy standards, policies, and procedures
• Pivot between tasks in a dynamic environment (never a dull moment!)
• Perform any other duties as assigned

• Comfortable operating in a loud, high-volume atmosphere
• Work both independently and with a team
• Basic PC knowledge
• Familiarity with electronic equipment, such as Point-of-Sale systems
• Ability to adapt and learn new technology/programs
• 2+ years of experience working in high volume, fine dining atmosphere preferred
• Maintain excellent attendance and able to work evening/weekend events as scheduled
• Enjoy free food (we'll feed you during every event shift)
