Job summary

Levy at the Rose Quarter is hiring a Server Assistant to support the team during events for the Portland arena. You will assist servers, bus, restock stations, and help maintain clean dining areas while upholding safety and service standards.

Ideal candidates are friendly, energetic, capable of working in a loud, high-volume setting, with basic PC knowledge and familiarity with POS systems. Evening and weekend availability is preferred, and free meals are provided during each event shift.

Qualifications

• Friendly & energetic individual ready to create memorable moments
• Comfortable operating in a loud, high-volume atmosphere
• Work both independently and with a team
• Basic PC knowledge
• Familiarity with electronic equipment, such as Point-of-Sale systems
• Ability to adapt and learn new technology/programs
• Experience working in a casual or fine dining atmosphere preferred
• Maintain excellent attendance and able to work evening/weekend events as scheduled
• Enjoy free food (we’ll feed you during every event shift)

Responsibilities

• Assist server in providing guests with a pleasant experience (with a smile on your face)
• Responsible for bussing, running, and general support to the server from beginning to end of service
• Re-stock work stations as necessary
• Ensure compliance with OLCC alcohol service standards
• Maintain cleanliness of service areas and restaurants & suites in compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements
• Ensure compliance with Levy standards, policies, and procedures
• Adapt to shifting between restaurant locations within the arena
• Pivot between tasks in a dynamic environment (never a dull moment!)
• Perform any other duties as assigned
