Job summary

Ancho & Agave in Omaha, NE is seeking a part-time server to greet guests, present menus, answer questions about ingredients, take orders and ensure a warm, memorable dining experience.

This role requires at least 1 year of server experience, weekend/evening availability, alcohol certification, and strong English communication. POS knowledge and wine awareness are a plus, with light lifting involved.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Server in a table-service restaurant.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Valid alcohol certification.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written).
• Elevated knowledge of wine & spirits.
• Highly developed interpersonal skills.
• Basic bookkeeping knowledge.
• Working knowledge of point-of-sale systems.
• High level of stamina to work on feet for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

Job Location: Omaha, NE 68118. Position Type: Part Time. Salary Range: $2.13 - $2.13 Hourly. Shift: Open Availability.

Responsibilities

Server responsibilities include greeting guests, offering menu assistance, presenting menu specials, answering guests’ questions about ingredients and menu items, taking orders, delivering food and beverages, ensuring guests’ meals and experience is perfect, serving guests with a warm, friendly smile, guest retention, cleaning, sanitizing, side work, teamwork of all varieties, reporting thoroughly to management, and handling cash and credit payments.
