Job summary

Ancho & Agave in Omaha, NE is seeking a part-time server to greet guests, present menus, answer questions about ingredients, take orders and ensure a warm, memorable dining experience.

This role requires at least 1 year of server experience, weekend/evening availability, alcohol certification, and strong English communication. POS knowledge and wine awareness are a plus, with light lifting involved.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Server in a table-service restaurant.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Valid alcohol certification.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written).
• Elevated knowledge of wine & spirits.
• Highly developed interpersonal skills.
• Basic bookkeeping knowledge.
• Working knowledge of point-of-sale systems.
• High level of stamina to work on feet for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take orders; present menu and specials.
• Deliver food and beverages and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Answer questions about ingredients; provide menu recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitizing; assist with side work.
• Work as part of a team; report to management; handle payments.
