Job summary

Ancho & Agave is seeking part-time Hosts in Omaha, NE to greet guests, assist with reservations, and guide guests to tables. You will provide menus, estimate wait times, and help manage seating arrangements to balance workload for the team.

Applicants should be friendly, punctual, and capable communicators with a strong team orientation. Flexible scheduling, competitive starting wage, and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written.
• Strong interpersonal skills and customer-service focus are essential.
• Able to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment; weekends/evenings/holidays flexible.
• Good stamina; able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist guests with reservations.
• Guide guests to tables and provide accurate wait-time estimates.
• Offer menus and answer initial questions; assist with seating optimization.
• Answer phones and schedule reservations; perform side work and station setup.
• Assist with light restaurant maintenance and general upkeep.

Salary Range: $15.00 - $17.00 Hourly

Ancho & Agave is hiring Hosts to help us create the ultimate dining experience for our guests. If you love serving people and know how to \"wow\" with your customer service…we want you to be on our team!

Applicants must be friendly, hardworking, team oriented, punctual, honest, and comfortable with customer service. Must be available to work consistently, always have a positive attitude and be an excellent communicator.

Host responsibilities include but are not limited to greeting customers, helping guests with reservations and guiding them to their tables, giving guests accurate wait time estimates, providing customers with menus and answering any initial questions they may have, optimizing seating at different tables to ensure even workload for wait staff, answering phones, scheduling reservations, side work, station set up, and light restaurant maintenance.
