Job summary

American Social - Miami (Brickell) is seeking a service-oriented team member to greet guests, take orders, and guide them through the menu. The role focuses on delivering beverages and food, upselling items, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities include processing payments, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting both FOH and BOH as needed. The position requires 18+ with alcohol certification and fluent English, with night shifts possible.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ to serve liquor.
• Able to work late-night shifts up to around 3 AM.
• Food handling certification a plus.
• Fluent in English; able to speak, read, write.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and courteously.
• Guide guests through beverage and food ordering, making recommendations.
• Describe and upsell items on the menu confidently.
• Deliver beverages and food efficiently and engage guests for a positive experience.
• Process payments and invite guests to return; maintain clean tables.
• Stock supplies and keep a clean, organized environment; assist in other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age to serve liquor.
• Ability to work Late Night shifts, potentially to between 12 AM - 3AM
• Works assigned scheduled shifts
• Alcohol Awareness Certification (i.e Serv Save, TIPs, etc) required
• Food handling certificate a plus
• Fluent in English; able to speak, read, write
• Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
• Ability to transport items up to 30 pounds
• Remain in stationary position for up to 4 hours throughout work shift
• Satisfactorily communicate with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding

Compensation: Minimum Wage
