Job summary

American Social - Tampa is seeking servers to greet guests promptly, take beverage and food orders, and provide an exceptional guest experience. You will confidently describe all menu items, upsell where appropriate, and deliver orders with efficiency while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities include handling payments, inviting guests back, keeping stations clean, stocking supplies, and collaborating with front-of-house and back-of-house teams; late-night shifts may be required.

Job Functions:

• Cleans and prepares tables for new guests
• Supports restaurant maintenance by stocking supplies and keeping a clean and organized environment
• Practices teamwork during all shifts and supports both FOH and BOH priorities
• Works cohesively with all Team Members
• Flexible to assist in other departments as requested
• Works well under pressure
• Follows the direction of the Managers on duty
• Supports and follows all Marketing initiatives

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 18 years of age to serve liquor.
• Ability to work Late Night shifts, potentially to between 12 AM - 3AM
• Works assigned scheduled shifts
• Alcohol Awareness Certification (i.e Serv Save, TIPs, etc) required
• Food handling certificate a plus
• Fluent in English; able to speak, read, write
• Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
• Ability to transport items up to 30 pounds
• Remain in stationary position for up to 4 hours throughout work shift
• Satisfactorily communicate with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding
