Job summary

Ensono is seeking a seasoned ISV z/OS Systems Programmer to install, maintain, and migrate ISV products on IBM z/OS. You will evaluate replacements, manage migrations, and ensure stability across multi‑vendor ecosystems.

The role requires deep expertise in SMP/E, IBM utilities, TSO/ISPF, and capacity for complex production migrations. Remote work is supported in the U.S., with strong collaboration across client teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a z/OS Systems Programmer for enterprise mainframes.
• Experience installing and maintaining ISV mainframe software products.
• Hands-on SMP/E software installation and maintenance processes.
• Experience performing migrations/Conversations between competing vendor tools.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade third‑party ISV software in a z/OS environment.
• Lead migration and replacement initiatives to adopt alternative vendor solutions.
• Conduct product evaluations, proofs-of-concept, and technical comparisons.
