Qualifications

5+ years of workers' compensation claim or legal experience.
5+ years hearing representative experience with strong litigation focus.
Strong understanding of Workers' Compensation law and procedures.
High proficiency in legal research software (Westlaw, Pacer) and Microsoft Office.
Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team.
Ability to analyze legal issues with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Independently handle a full to moderate caseload with low to moderate complexity.
Manage hearings, court events, and appointments as appropriate.
Conduct legal research as needed.
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery documents.
Interpret medical reports and provide disability ratings where required.
Provide recommendations and case analysis to partners and clients.
Maintain strong client relationships and complete administrative tasks.
