Job summary

Vensure Employer Solutions is seeking a Senior Workers' Compensation Claims Specialist to manage complex, multi-state claims from inception through closure. You will educate clients on general work comp matters and coordinate with TPAs, defense counsel, medical providers, and injured workers to ensure efficient, compliant claim handling.

The role emphasizes return-to-work strategies and proactive risk management.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of workers' compensation laws, statutes, and regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Expert understanding of claims investigation techniques and risk assessment.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, return-to-work principles, and rehabilitation processes.
• Strong understanding of litigation processes, including settlement negotiations and mediation practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide empathetic, expert-level communication to injured workers and guide them through the claims process.
• Support clients in developing and optimizing return-to-work programs and transitional work opportunities.
• Serve as liaison between clients, adjusters, defense counsel, medical providers, and injured employees.
• Monitor claim progression and ensure timely action on medical updates, benefits, and jurisdictional requirements.
