Job summary

Vensure Employer Solutions is seeking a Senior Workers' Compensation Claims Specialist to manage multi‑state claims from inception to closure with minimal supervision. You will educate clients on general workers' comp matters and serve as a trusted consultant on risk mitigation.

Your role includes leading investigations, evaluating reserves, advising on settlements, and coordinating with TPAs, attorneys, and medical providers to reduce loss and ensure compliant claim handling.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of multi‑state workers' compensation claims experience.
• Experience managing complex, litigated claims.
• Strong return‑to‑work coordination experience.
• Proficient with claims software and Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive investigations of complex workers' compensation claims and provide detailed findings.
• Evaluate reserve and settlement requests with advanced exposure assessments.
• Assess financial exposure and advise on cost control and settlements.
• Advise clients on risk reduction and return‑to‑work strategies.
• Communicate clearly with injured workers and clients, balancing interests.
• Coordinate with TPAs, defense counsel, medical providers, and employers.
• Monitor claim progression and ensure timely actions and compliance.
• Manage a high‑volume caseload with accuracy and accountability.
• Mentor junior staff and share best practices across the team.
