Job summary

BrandSafway is seeking an experienced Manager, Workers’ Compensation Claims to lead and elevate our claims program. You will manage internal claims professionals, partner with TPAs, and collaborate with Finance, HR, Safety, and Legal to improve outcomes and reduce total cost of risk.

The role involves leading complex or higher-exposure claims, analyzing trends, and driving consistent decision-making across the portfolio while leveraging RMIS tools and emerging technologies.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of Workers’ Compensation or risk management experience.
• Experience in multi-state or complex claims environments.
• Demonstrated leadership or oversight of claims professionals.
• Financial acumen and understanding of claim cost drivers.
• Proficiency in RMIS or claims systems and data analysis.
• Interest in leveraging AI-enabled tools and technologies to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership, direction, and support to the internal Workers’ Compensation claims team, ensuring alignment in approach and accountability.
• Collaborate with TPAs, actuaries, and Finance to evaluate total incurred costs, reserve development, and trends.
• Monitor overall claim exposure and development across policy years.
• Develop and use reporting tools and dashboards for visibility into claim performance and risk indicators.
• Identify opportunities to enhance claims management with AI and automation.
• Review claim strategies, reserve adjustments, and settlement recommendations within authority.
