Job summary

Vensure Employer Solutions seeks a Senior Workers' Compensation Claims Specialist to service multi-state clients with minimal supervision. The role manages claims from inception to closure and serves as the primary client education contact on general workers' comp matters.

The ideal candidate will investigate complex claims, determine reserving strategies, and provide expert guidance to clients and TPAs, including RTW optimization. Offices in Chandler, AZ and Duluth, GA support on-site work.

Qualifications

• Must have in-depth knowledge of workers' compensation laws across multiple jurisdictions.
• Expertise in claims investigation, coverage verification and risk assessment.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, return-to-work concepts and rehabilitation processes.
• Excellent communication, negotiation with clients and attorneys, and advisory skills.
• Proficient with MS Office and data analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex investigations of high-exposure workers' compensation claims and provide findings to the TPA adjuster.
• Evaluate reserve and settlement requests based on prognosis, benefits, and risk factors.
• Manage a portfolio from filing to closure with timely, compliant documentation.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to best-practice procedures across the team.
• Develop and optimize return-to-work programs and transitional duties.
• Coordinate with TPAs, defense counsel, medical providers, and employees to mitigate risk.
