Job summary

S&S Activewear is seeking an experienced Senior Workers' Compensation Specialist to lead multi-state claims administration and return-to-work initiatives. You will partner with HR, Safety, TPAs, and medical providers to ensure compliant, cost-effective claim handling and successful early returns to work.

The role emphasizes independent management of complex claims, data-driven improvement, and collaboration across stakeholders in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in risk/H.R./business.
• 5–7 years of progressive workers' compensation experience.
• Experience with TPAs, carriers, providers and RMIS/HRIS.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day administration of multi-state workers' compensation claims.
• Serve as primary internal contact for claim activity.
• Coordinate with TPAs, carriers, nurse case managers and providers.
• Review claim status, reserves and settlement recommendations.
• Coordinate investigations and ensure timely reporting.
• Monitor compliance with state regulations and service expectations.
• Assist with complex, litigated, and high-exposure claims.
• Coordinate return-to-work and accommodation programs.
