Job summary

Morgan & Morgan, P.A. is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Attorney to join its growing Ft. Myers practice.

You will handle a heavy and complex caseload across hearings and depositions, building a statewide workers’ compensation presence for the firm. This is a premier opportunity to advance in a fast-growing practice in Florida. The right candidate will bring 3+ years of workers' compensation experience, a law degree from an accredited school, and strong client service and advocacy

Qualifications

• Law degree from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar.
• Minimum 3+ years of workers' compensation experience.
• Ability to manage high volume of cases and hearings.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day handling of cases and hearings.
• Drafting and filing of litigation documents including pleadings, discovery requests/responses, demands, motions and memoranda.
• Guide clients through the case process.
• Interaction with expert witnesses including conferences, drafting of expert reports and affidavits.
• Attendance and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings and court appearances.
