Job summary

Morgan & Morgan is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our Workers' Compensation team in Naples. The Associate will support fellow Attorneys with a heavy and complex caseload of workers' compensation matters and benefit from the firm's scale and resources.

You will learn how M&M handles cases and maximize the best results for claimants. Our lawyers work the best cases with extensive resources and world-class trial Attorneys.

Qualifications

• Law degree from a fully accredited law school.
• Active Florida Bar license in good standing; multiple state licenses preferred.
• Minimum 1+ year of workers' compensation experience.
• Ability to manage high volume caseload through full life cycle.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and filing of litigation documents to include pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions and memorandum.
• Guide claimants through the case process.
• Interaction with expert witnesses to include conferences, drafting of expert reports and affidavits.
• Attendance and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and appearances.
