Job summary

Morgan & Morgan is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Attorney to join its growing Ft. Myers, FL practice. The attorney will handle a heavy and complex caseload and hearings, helping build out a statewide workers’ compensation practice for the firm.

The right candidate will have a law degree, Florida Bar membership, and at least 3 years of workers' compensation experience, with strong writing and advocacy skills. This is a full-time role with excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of workers' compensation experience
• Active FL State Bar in good standing
• Excellent client service and communication skills
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to manage high case volume and hearings
• Experience handling litigation documents and depositions

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day handling of cases and hearings
• Drafting and filing litigation documents (pleadings, discovery, motions)
• Guiding clients through the case process
• Interacting with expert witnesses and preparing reports
• Attending depositions, mediations, hearings and court appearances
