Job summary

Morgan & Morgan in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Attorney to join our growing practice. You will handle a heavy caseload, manage hearings, and guide clients through the workers' compensation process with a focus on client service.

This role offers the chance to help build a statewide practice, work with seasoned attorneys, and earn compensation reflective of your experience and performance. A law degree and NC Bar admission are required.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active NC State Bar membership in good standing.
• Minimum 3+ years of workers' compensation experience.
• Ability to manage a high-volume case load and hearings.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Self-starter with long-term career goals.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day handling of cases and hearings.
• Drafting and filing of litigation documents including pleadings and motions.
• Guide clients through the case process.
• Coordinate with expert witnesses and draft reports/affidavits.
• Attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
