Job summary

Morgan & Morgan is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our Workers Compensation team in our Naples office. The Associate will support fellow attorneys with a heavy and complex caseload of Workers' Compensation cases, benefiting from working at the firm with the largest marketing budget in this space.

You will learn how M&M handles Workers' Compensation cases and how we maximize the best result for claimants.

Qualifications

• Law degree from a fully accredited law school.
• Active FL State Bar member in good standing; multiple state licenses preferred.
• Minimum 1+ year of workers' compensation experience.
• Ability to manage high volume of cases through full life cycle.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Self-starter driven by long-term career goals.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and filing litigation documents including pleadings, discovery requests/responses, motions, and memoranda.
• Guide claimants through the case process.
• Coordinate with expert witnesses, conferences, and affidavits.
• Attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and appearances.
