ICW Group is seeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation attorney to handle high-exposure matters and complex litigation. The role requires independent caseload management, superior legal analysis, and aggressive advocacy in California courts and administrative forums.

You will provide strategic advice to clients and claims personnel, mentor junior staff, and ensure efficient disposition of cases while upholding professional conduct and regulatory rules.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of workers’ compensation litigation experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of California.
• Expert knowledge in litigating California workers’ compensation matters with trial experience.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents and medical records.

Responsabilités

• Provides litigation services for all aspects of assigned Workers’ Compensation matters.
• Manages the full legal process from investigation through trial prep and court proceedings.
• Litigates WC cases in California before state and federal courts and administrative boards.
• Develops defense strategies and communicates recommendations to clients and claims personnel.
• Directs support staff and ensures timely filing of pleadings and motions.
