Job summary

ICW Group in California is seeking an experienced attorney to manage all aspects of workers’ compensation cases and provide litigation and claim-related legal services across the company.

You will handle case management from investigation through trial, appear before state and federal courts, advise claims teams, and mentor junior staff while upholding professional conduct. Travel to court locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school required.
• 7–10 years of workers’ compensation litigation experience or equivalent.
• Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of California.

Responsibilities

• Provides litigation services and handles all aspects of assigned Workers’ Compensation matters.
• Manages the entire legal process from investigation through trial prep and court proceedings.
• Litigates workers’ compensation cases before state and federal courts and administrative boards.
• Provides strategic legal advice to clients and claims personnel.
• Directs paralegals and staff and ensures timely filing of pleadings and documents.
