Job summary

Holmes Murphy is seeking a Sr. Workers’ Compensation Claims Specialist, Supervisor to join Creative Risk Solutions.

The role focuses on high-quality claims handling oversight for litigated and complex cases across multiple states, mentoring staff, and guiding investigations, communications, and resolutions. Ideal candidate has 5+ years of adjusting workers’ compensation claims, supervisory experience, and active state license.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of adjusting property and casualty claims, including litigated claims.
• Active state Workers' Compensation License or ability to acquire within 3 months.
• Strong grasp of claims principles, practices, and insurance coverage interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate and oversee workers' compensation claims, including staffing and settlements.
• Monitor and document claim files, focusing on coverage, investigation, reserves, and medical management.
• Lead, coach, and evaluate team members; manage timesheets and performance reviews.
• Mediate between insured and insurer, addressing coverage issues and large loss reporting.
• Ensure compliance with CRS Best Practices and company policies.
