Holmes Murphy is seeking a Sr. Workers’ Compensation Claims Specialist, Supervisor, to lead the Creative Risk Solutions team. The ideal candidate has multi-state jurisdiction experience and provides high-quality claims oversight for litigated and complex cases.

Responsibilities include adjudicating claims, staff coaching, performance reviews, and coordinating training. Requires an active Workers' Compensation license or ability to obtain within three months and 5+ years of adjusting

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma; college degree preferred.
• Experience: 5+ years in adjusting property and casualty claims, including litigated claims.
• Licensing: Active state Workers' Compensation license or ability to obtain within 3 months.
• Skills: Broad knowledge of General/Auto Liability or Workers' Compensation coverage.
• Technical: Strong claims principles and regulatory compliance.

Responsabilités

• Adjudicate claims during staffing shortages and negotiate settlements per Best Practices.
• Monitor and document claim files across coverage, investigation, reserves, plan of action, legal and medical management.
• Research and respond to questions from insureds, claimants, agency partners, and fronting carriers.
• Discuss complex claims and coverage issues with clients and address inquiries.
• Maintain communication with customers and fronting carriers per established guidelines.
• Assist staff in managing litigation claims and protect insured and carrier interests.
