Job summary

Morgan & Morgan is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Attorney to join its growing Kentucky practice. This role offers the opportunity to handle a heavy and complex caseload across Kentucky locations, with a focus on protecting injured workers' rights and pursuing favorable outcomes.

The ideal candidate has a Juris Doctor, an active Kentucky Bar license, and at least three years of workers' comp experience.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited school.
• Active license to practice law in Kentucky.
• Minimum 3+ years of workers' compensation experience.
• Strong client service and communication skills.
• Excellent writing and oral advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day handling of cases and hearings.
• Drafting and filing of litigation documents including pleadings, discovery requests/responses, motions and memoranda.
• Guide clients through the case process and maintain client communication.
• Interact with expert witnesses, including conferences and drafting of reports.
• Attend depositions, mediations, hearings and court appearances.
